Successful first edition of HX Auctions

15 December 2020

With an average price of more than € 20,000, the first edition of the HX Auctions turned out to be a very successful one. The promising Aganix du Seigneur son Aganuno van de Eijkhof Z has been sold to California for € 44,000 and is one of ten horses that will continue their career outside the Netherlands.

Bidders from the United States, Finland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Canada and Ireland, among others, showed good interest in Stal Hendrix’s eleven three-year-old jumping talents. Paul, Michel and Timothy Hendrix selected a promising collection from their own breeding and rearing. In this first edition of the online auction, the eleven horses achieved an average price of € 20,318.

Very satisfied
“We are very satisfied with the progress of the auction and the fact that the horses ended up with good clients. Stal Hendrix has an international customer base and they appreciated the quality that we’ve offered in this first auction”, says Paul Hendrix. “The Aganix du Seigneur son Aganuno van de Eijkhof Z was the most complete showjumper of this collection and that has resulted into the highest price. The offspring of our stallion Gaspahr also yielded good prices and we have welcomed many regular customers of Stal Hendrix in this auction, which is always positive.”

Good quality
Three horses were sold abroad for a price of € 23.000: the George offspring Monalisa, the Gaspahr son Mister Chin and the Cape Coral RBF Z mare Maggie May HX. “With this first collection we have been able to get off to a good start with HX Auctions and this edition is a compliment for the whole team.”
